Team purpose

The Scientific Training Team delivers engaging and inspiring training on the microbiome, probiotics & prebiotics and individual products. The team assesses training needs, creates professional training resources and provides sessions that inspire and build confidence in all levels of participants.

Recipients of training are both within the organisation and external to the business. External partners range from commercial store staff or commercial managers to highly qualified medical professionals. Internal recipients are new starters to the business or those in roles which require continuous learning on the more scientific aspects of the range.


We are looking for a confident and experienced Training Specialist to join the Scientific Training Team.  

This role has a particular emphasis on delivering training to new and existing distribution partners around the world, holding in-person in the UK and online sessions with people who often have English as a second language.

 Audiences range from small to large groups, from unqualified sales teams to healthcare professionals. Face-to-face training sessions in the UK only and online internationally.

Key Responsibilities


  • Supporting our external partners by sharing our approved training messages.
  • Identifying the needs of new and existing Export partners and liaising with the account manager to select the most appropriate mode of training.
  • Leveraging existing assets, create and deliver engaging training sessions appropriate for the existing knowledge and commercial levels of the people being trained.
  • With the Scientific Training Manager and Marketing department, build and maintain a complete package of training materials for self-guided online access by distributors.
  • Optimise existing training materials to provide efficiencies in repeated sessions and overlapping markets. Where necessary, develop additional assets to strengthen the overall training package


  • Deliver induction sessions as part of the new starter process, instilling the company’s core mission and values.
  • As guided by the Scientific Training Manager, implement company-wide updates on NPD, research, clinical trials, competitor training and general microbiome knowledge to internal colleagues.
  • Create comprehensive competitor analysis of other products on the market, in the UK & Ireland and Internationally.
  • Edit and review training materials, presentations or webinars produced by other teams.
  • Be a point of contact for day-to-day product training enquiries within the company.


  • Degree level or higher qualification in the overall fields of Natural Sciences (e.g. Pharmaceuticals, Science, Natural Science).
  • Advanced MS Office capabilities.
  • A training qualification (either vocational or academic) would be advantageous. However, we are willing to consider applicants with relevant professional experience.
  • Any additional languages to English would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Arabic is essential

Hours, Location, Salary

  • Hours: Full-time (40 hours)
  • Location: HQ (Maidstone) and home-based (if desired) plus regular international travel
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications

Salary: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
