How much time will apprentices need to commit each week?
Apprentices typically commit 5-6 hours per week to their studies, which includes the 2-hour live session, approximately 2 hours of self-directed learning (reading, quizzes, etc.), and 1-2 hours for completing workplace-based assignments. The program is designed to be flexible, allowing apprentices to balance their studies with work responsibilities. The employer must allow 20% of the apprentice’s working hours for off-the-job training, which includes all apprenticeship learning activities.
What's the difference between the apprenticeship and the CIM qualification?
The Level 4 Marketing Executive Apprenticeship is a work-based learning program that covers a broad range of marketing skills and knowledge, assessed through a portfolio of evidence and an end-point assessment. The CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing is an internationally recognized professional qualification that focuses specifically on digital marketing techniques and strategies, assessed through formal examinations. Our program offers the apprenticeship as standard, with the option to complete the CIM qualification as an additional certification, enhancing the apprentice’s professional credentials.
Can existing employees participate in the apprenticeship?
Yes, the apprenticeship is ideal for both new and existing employees. For existing staff, it provides a structured way to develop their marketing skills and gain a recognized qualification. The program can be particularly valuable for employees who have moved into marketing roles without formal training, or for those looking to update their skills with the latest digital marketing techniques and AI applications. The flexible delivery model ensures minimal disruption to their current work responsibilities.
