An Introduction to this Change Management Foundation Course
This module introduces the Change Management course. Students receive a syllabus, course guide, and other e-learning materials.
This module provides an overview of change management. It describes each stage to be completed in order to successfully introduce transformation within an organization.
This module looks at the models used to understand organizations as well as organizational change. Students learn what drives transformation and become familiar with how strategies are designed and implemented in a way that guarantees success.
This module looks at the importance and impact of ‘organizational culture’ on change management. Students learn about the roles involved in change as well as the benefits of establishing clear benefits for organizational transformation initiatives.
This module examines ‘change planning’. Students learn how to measure the impact of change and how to prepare organizations and individuals to take part.
They also study how to plan for and tackle resistance to initiatives.
This module looks at how change impacts individuals. Students learn how the right motivation and education can help individuals deal with and support organizational transformation.
This module takes students through stakeholder engagement.

Exam/Assessment
This course is designed to fully prepare students to sit the Change Management Foundation exam. Successfully passing the exam will also entitle students to sit the Change Management Practitioner exam.

What do I need to know about the Change Management exams?
The Foundation certification exam features four sections and 50 multiple-choice questions. The exam is closed-book, and students have 40 minutes to complete it.
To pass, students must score at least 25 marks out of a possible 50 (50%).
The Practitioner certification exam features four objective testing questions, each worth 20 marks, based on a case study that will be provided. Students have 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to complete the exam.
The Effective Change Manager’s Handbook may be used, and the exam is restricted open-book. To pass, students must score at least 40 marks out of a possible 80 (50%).
